Professor Paul Michael Wihbey

Professor Paul Michael Wihbey is a recognized international expert, author, consultant, and professor on the Geopolitics of Energy including unconventional fuels, oil and gas shale, LNG, LPG, midstream logistics, and regulatory issues. His professional expertise covers key energy producing and consuming regions such as the US Gulf Coast, Gulf of Guinea, Western Canada, China, the Persian Gulf, OPEC, and the Eastern Mediterranean.  Wihbey is Executive Director, Institute on the Geopolitics of Energy & Strategic Resources, Washington DC.

He is Visiting Professor and Fellow, Emerald Energy Institute, University of Port Harcourt, and is a Visiting Scholar: Environmental & Energy Management Institute, The George Washington University, Washington DC. He has been a keynote speaker at energy and investment conferences around the globe, including: Singapore, London, Dubai, Istanbul, Ankara, Abu Dhabi, Beijing, Abuja, Port Harcourt, Geneva, Zurich, Washington DC, Edmonton, Calgary, Toronto, Los Angeles, and New York.
